I just wanted to post some of the angels I'm selling this weekend. I call them Wild Angels, but I then discovered that people were less scared when I called them "Good Luck Angels." How ridiculous. Wild Angels are much better luck than those sentimental, super sweet things other people call angels!

Children's Hospital etc.
The origin of many of the images for children originated from a series of commissions from Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and Jefferson Hospital's Pediatric Clinic. Later on I will post some of the "ring books" which went with the pictures at Jefferson...They were sort of stories on laminated pages hooked together with huge key rings which hung next to their related images. The kids could take the ring books down carry the books around and find all the characters. I printed the images at least 4' X 6,' laminated them and hung them right down at kid level so they could put their little hands right on them.
Cement Transformed
I wanted to have my painted cement patio here. It's amazing what you can do with ugly pieces of your world if you just think about it for awhile. The structure of this floor is based on a classic oriental rug, but obviously I filled each area with my own things. As in the real rug I used abstracted elements of my local fauna and flora. There are raccoons just out of sight.

Our Children's Books
So I want to post links to both our (Catherine Bancroft, that's Kitty) and my Frog books which, though long out of print, live on in many children's lives and grown ups too. And here's a shout out to all the unpublished ones languishing in our files and my sketch books. Pathetic.
Anyway, here they are:

Many facets
So now I'm sticking the nudes and unnudes lower down,
well they're hardly a nudes at all,
the point is they are from the other side of my image
making life.
